A handle for broad brush tips, from DSPIAE. A triangular cross section; the tips are changed as needed.
Responsibility details are not available.
A handle with a seat for interchangeable brush tips with a wider stroke. Against the fine version of the same line it aims at work where area is at stake: base coats on small parts, glazes, pulling out bands and trim. The point of the design stays the same, that is, once it is worn it is not the whole brush that is thrown away but only the tip. The triangular cross section of the handle does not turn in the fingers and the weight is deliberately very low.
Fit the tip into the seat and tighten the front section; when changing it do not forget to put the spring back, otherwise the tip will not seat and slides in as you draw. Take paint onto the end of the bristle only, never to the root, where it hardens and breaks the shape up. Clean the tip with the appropriate thinner after work and let it dry lying flat.
The handle is shared with other tools from the same line, so the fine tips and the nib for running in panel lines belong in it as well. The exact contents of the package are not stated here, so count on possibly having to obtain the tips separately.
Paints and thinner are not included in the package. It pays to keep the habit of using separate tips for solvent-based and water-thinnable paints; a residue of enamel in the bristle can curdle an acrylic paint.
Anyone who paints only occasionally will manage with a ready-made brush. A shared handle pays off when the tips get changed several times a year, and above all when one has got used to a single grip and does not want to change it every time a point wears out.
