This is a book, not a kit. The second volume of the monograph from Waldemar Trojca's numbered series deals with the late versions of the German Pz.Kpfw. IV medium tank and follows on from the volume on the F, F2 and G versions. The book has ninety-six pages of a large format, and technical drawings take up most of its extent. The text is in Polish.
The Ausf. H and J versions represent the final form of the Panzer IV. The vehicles received thicker frontal armor, the long 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/48 gun and commonly also side anti-shaped-charge skirts, the so-called Schürzen. The J version then simplified production: it lost the auxiliary engine for traversing the turret and received a larger fuel supply. The Panzer IV thus remained the most numerous German tank right up to the end of the war and served on every front. Small things changed between the individual production runs as well, from exhaust extensions to the stowage of tools on the hull.
For modelers who build the late Panzer IV and need drawings and photographs for the details, and for those interested in German armored vehicles. Given the Polish text it is mainly the pictorial part that will serve, which makes up most of the book and reads without any knowledge of the language.
