Eight interchangeable metal heads for the electric reciprocating sander. The head is the part of the tool the abrasive paper is stuck onto, and its shape decides where you can reach with the sander and what surface you leave behind. The set covers the usual tasks: a narrow slim head for joints, a rectangular and a square one for flat panels, a triangular one for inside corners, a curved and a spherical one for rounded shapes and a right-angled head for internal corners.
A single head is not enough, because the shape of the working face has to match the shape of the place being sanded. A flat head sands a facet into a curve, while a spherical one creates a hollow on a flat panel. With the set the shape of the head can be changed according to the part, keeping a surface true where it should be true and curved where it should be curved.
The set is for owners of the electric reciprocating sander who want to cover a whole build with one tool. The sander itself and the abrasive papers are not included in the package, and the papers also differ in shape depending on whether they are for flat or for round heads.
When working with an electric tool do not breathe in the sanding dust and work with extraction or with a respirator.
