The Green Stuff World rolling pin with handle, sett pavement 15 mm presses a paving pattern into modeling putty in the smallest of the sizes offered.
Responsibility details are not available.
A tool for building dioramas from Green Stuff World. The rolling pin with its relief of paving setts is run over rolled-out modeling putty and presses a regular pattern of a paved road or square into it. The handle makes it easier to keep to a straight line and to apply even pressure. This version carries the designation 15 mm, that is, the smallest pattern size of those the manufacturer offers with this motif. The difference between the pattern sizes is fundamental: paving that fits a figure diorama looks immediately wrong on a vehicle model in another scale.
The size of the pattern has to be chosen to match the scale of the build: setts that are too large give the game away at first glance, while setts that are too small merge into a uniform surface. The smallest version suits smaller scales, where the paving is only to be suggested. Once dry, the pressed surface can be painted, weathered and completed with dust and grass between the joints.
Clean the tool after work; putty dried in the pattern will ruin the next impression. Keep it out of the reach of children.
