A replacement needle chucking guide for the Gaahleri Seeker airbrush. The manufacturer lists it under the name needle chucking guide as a separate part for this Advanced Series model. This is not an airbrush, nor a set of parts, but the single piece without which the needle is not guided accurately in the body.

What the chucking guide does

The guide holds the needle on its axis and turns the pull of the main lever into travel back and forward. Together with the needle chucking nut it therefore decides how precisely the paint is metered. The manufacturer's instructions stress that the face of the guide must sit at the correct angle after reassembly; otherwise the main lever jams.

Fitting and maintenance

• According to the manufacturer's instructions, the part goes in after the main lever is seated, before the spring.
• Check the angle of the face before you screw in the spring case.
• If the main lever runs stiff, clean the lever cavity at the same time.
• The needle is very sharp; the manufacturer expressly warns about this when handling it.
