DSPIAE SS-C02-400 is a refill of twenty-four self-adhesive foam discs ten millimeters in diameter in 400 grit. The coarsest grain in the range, for leveling joints and filler.

Twenty-four foam discs with a self-adhesive back, ten millimeters in diameter. The 400 grit is the coarsest grade in this range and it is the working grain: it levels mold seams, sprue nubs, ridges of filler and the unevenness left by gluing. The other grits only tidy up after it.
A coarse grain removes material fast and on plastic it is easy to sand through engraved paneling or a detail next to a joint. Work along the seam rather than across it, therefore, and stop before you think the job is done. A detail that has been sanded through is far harder to restore than the rest of the seam is to sand away.
The refill is for users of the discs in this range and above all for those who often sand filler, resin parts or older molds with pronounced seams. It is on that kind of work that a coarse grain is used up fastest.
Do not breathe in the sanding dust from plastic and resin; work with extraction or at least with a respirator.
