Clear 30 mm token holders

Tokens in board games and wargames are handled over and over: they bend, the printing rubs off and in larger numbers they get harder to tell apart. The holder is a clear capsule that closes around the token, so it stays legible and undamaged while remaining visible, so you can still see which token it is. Green Stuff World states that the capsules are made of rigid methacrylate, open and close easily and take a token up to 30 mm in diameter and up to 3 mm thick. There are sixteen in the package.

Use

• Open the capsule, lay the token in face up and snap the lid shut.
• The token has to lie flat; a piece put in crooked keeps the capsule from closing.
• Keep the capsules clean, as a scratched or dusty surface reduces legibility.
• Do not put a damp or freshly varnished token into a capsule, as trapped moisture ruins the printing.
• To tell the sides of a game apart, use the capsules the same way at both ends of the table so they do not get mixed up.
• When carrying them between games, store the capsules flat; on edge they open more easily.

Who they are for

They suit board game and wargame players who carry tokens between games and want to keep them in good shape, and tournament players above all. They work straight away and need no preparation. They are useful with hand-painted tokens too, where the paint would otherwise wear through quickly.

Small parts are not suitable for small children. Keep them out of their reach. The tokens are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
