Agama polishable metal paints come from Czech modelling production and follow the two-stage principle: the metal goes on first and the lustre is created afterwards by rubbing. They suit metal parts that should look hand-worked rather than factory fresh, such as engines, weapons, driven components and worn edges. Because the lustre is made by hand, one tin covers both a dull used gun barrel and a bright rubbed bearing face, a spread no single sprayed shade will give you. The stiff short-haired brushes and cotton buds used for the buffing are in brushes for model painting, and the sprayed metal finishes that work the other way round in metallic model paints.
