3DF 1:32 seat for the Hurricane Mk.II is a 3D-printed pilot's seat intended as a replacement for the part in the Hawker Hurricane Mk.II kit in 1:32 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory that sharpens up the cockpit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not a kit of the aircraft — it is a separate detail accessory. It is a pilot's seat made by 3D printing that replaces the standard plastic part in the cockpit of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.II model in 1:32 scale. 3D printing makes it possible to print thin walls, edges and seat pan surfaces in a form that injection-molded plastic cannot reach because of the mold and its draft angles — which is why the seat, once fitted in the cockpit, is one of the most visible improvements to the whole model.
With the canopy open, the pilot's seat is a dominant feature of the Hurricane, visible from the side and from above. The original plastic part tends to be thick-walled and simplified in shape. Exchanging it for a 3D-printed part gives sharper detail and a more realistic interior without having to build the whole cockpit again.
For modelers who are building the Hawker Hurricane Mk.II in 1:32 scale and want to bring out the cockpit quickly. Working with 3D-printed parts calls for a little experience in cutting off supports and in using cyanoacrylate; otherwise fitting it is simple.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Use respiratory protection when sanding printed resin.
