A set of double-sided, self-adhesive and pre-cut masking films (kabuki) for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-5/G-6 fighter in 1:24 scale. It is a masking accessory, not a model in its own right: the masks serve to paint the canopy frames and the rest of the glazing, the wheels and small areas accurately. The double-sided version means that you mask the glazing from the inside as well as from the outside. It is intended for the large Airfix Bf 109G-5/G-6 kit.
The pre-cut masks are stuck straight onto the glazing and define exactly the areas that are to stay clear. The pieces are numbered and, together with the instructions, set out exactly where they go. The laborious cutting of masking tape is done away with.
Degrease the glazing before masking. Lay the masks on a clean and dry surface and press the edges down well so that paint does not creep under them. Once the paint is on and has become tacky, peel the masks off carefully.
This is a masking accessory, not a model in its own right. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
