About product

Masking set F-4E/EJ/G Phantom II, double-sided, 1:48 (Art Scale)

A self-adhesive express fit masking set for a model of the McDonnell Douglas F-4E/EJ/G Phantom II in 1:48 scale. The double-sided version covers the glazing from the outside as well as from the inside, so the canopy frames stay clean from both viewpoints. It is not a kit but a masking aid.

The real subject

The E, EJ and G versions are among the later Phantoms: the F-4E with a built-in cannon, the Japanese license-built F-4EJ and the F-4G equipped for the suppression of enemy air defenses. The set suits a model of any of these versions.

Use

  • Stick the outer masks onto the canopy framing and the windscreen.
  • The inner masks cover the glazing as seen from the cockpit.
  • They allow sharp color transitions with no paint creeping under the mask.
  • Peel the masks off while the paint is still fresh.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of Phantoms in the E, EJ and G versions in 1:48.
  • Modelers who want clean framing on both sides.

An aid for masking, not a model. The paints are not included in the package.
