This set is not a kit but a detail accessory. It replaces the plastic wheels from the original model with precisely shaped wheels with a crisp tire tread and a faithful rendition of the hub. Painting masks that make it easier to paint the rims cleanly are usually included as well. The set is intended for Bf 109 G-6 models in 1:32 scale.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 was one of the most produced sub-versions of the Gustav. Its characteristic features were the fairings over the synchronized machine guns on the engine cowling. In the large 1:32 scale the detail of the main wheels and of the tire tread stands out.
Before gluing, wash any remains of mold release agent off the parts and degrease them lightly. The tire is painted with a flat color and the hub is sprayed separately using the enclosed masks. Cyanoacrylate glue holds the wheels firmly on the landing gear legs.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
