A detail set from the Brassin PRINT line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard for the F-35C Lightning II kit in 1:48 scale from Tamiya. The cabin is made by direct 3D printing in resin, which allows exceptionally fine detail of the instrument panel, the side consoles and the cockpit tub; photo-etched parts go with it. This is not an airplane model but a replacement detail cockpit for experienced modelers.
The F-35C Lightning II is the carrier version of the American fifth-generation fighter, adapted for operation from aircraft carriers. It is set apart from the other versions by its larger wings with folding tips and by the strengthened landing gear with an arrestor hook. Its cockpit is operated through a large touchscreen display.
Wash the print resin residue off the resin parts, separate them carefully from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding. We recommend a primer before painting.
This is an add-on set in resin and photo-etch for experienced modelers, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
