A 3D-printed (resin) cockpit set for the American Republic P-47N Thunderbolt fighter in 1:48 scale, in the Basic version. The set is meant to replace the cockpit of the injection-molded MiniArt kit - it is not a stand-alone aircraft model. The Basic version contains pre-printed 3D decals for the instrument panels, which arrive already colored and save time.
The P-47N was the long-range version of the Thunderbolt developed for the Pacific theater, with a new wing of greater span and a longer reach. The set replaces the kit cockpit with a detailed tub, a seat with belts and side consoles; the instrument panel is finished with the enclosed 3D decals. The glazed canopy of the late Thunderbolt leaves plenty in view, so a well worked interior pays off.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, separate them from the carrier (casting) blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways when sanding. Paint the basic surfaces with primer and an airbrush, then apply the 3D panel decals according to the instructions.
This is a detail accessory for experienced modelers, not a stand-alone model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
