RESArm 1:48 B-26 Invader wheels under load is a resin, 3D-printed set of weighted wheels for a model of the American Douglas B-26 Invader attack bomber. It is a detail accessory, not an aircraft kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin, 3D-printed set of main wheels from RESArm for a model of the American twin-engine Douglas B-26 Invader attack bomber (originally the A-26) in 1:48 scale. The tires are rendered with a realistically flattened contact patch that imitates the load of a standing aircraft. The set sharpens the detail of the landing gear.
It replaces the wheels from the plastic kit with more faithful resin parts that carry the weighted effect. On the heavy Invader the main wheels take a considerable load, so a marked deformation of the tires gives a standing model a convincing realism.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Fit the wheels at the end, with the flat of the tire against the ground; we recommend a primer before painting.
It is a resin detail set, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
