Sportsman cars and the so-called kit cars were race specials that were cheap to build for American short-track ovals. The Dodge Dart body was fitted with racing equipment, a roll cage and a reworked driveline. It was a popular category of amateur and semi-professional racing.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. Finish the interior and the roll cage before closing the body up. Treat the body with a primer, apply the paint with an airbrush and finish with a clear coat for a faithful racing look.
