This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:25 scale from the American brand AMT captures the drag-racing Ford Mustang funny car Mach Won from the beginning of the 1970s. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is a revival of a period tooling with restored parts and an extended decal sheet.
Funny cars are a drag category with a flip-up body on a racing frame. The Mach Won uses a Logghe-type chassis and a Ford 427 V8 engine. The car comes with a rear wing, a choice of several front ends, a drag chute and a flip-up body seated on the frame.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. Assemble and paint the frame and the engine before fitting the body. Treat the body with a primer, spray it with an airbrush and finish with a gloss clear coat, which is also ideal under the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
