An injection-molded plastic kit of the Jupiter 2 flying saucer from the well-known science-fiction series Lost in Space, made by Moebius Models. The Jupiter 2 models from this maker tend to be worked out in detail, including the interior and an optional landing gear. The parts are on sprues and it is built by gluing and painting.
The Jupiter 2 is the saucer-shaped interstellar ship of the Robinson family from the American series of the 1960s, Lost in Space. It has a characteristic saucer shape with two decks and is usually accompanied by a vehicle and a robot.
The large rounded surfaces of the saucer call for careful cleaning up of the joints and an even primer. The interior comes out best before the hull is closed up; separate lighting sets are usually available as well (they are not part of this kit).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
