About product

WWII Imperial Japanese Navy Vol.2 - ATOM acrylic paint set, AMMO of Mig Jimenez

A set of modeling paints of the ATOM line from AMMO of Mig Jimenez. It is not a kit but a set of water-thinnable acrylic paints aimed at the aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) of the Second World War. The paints of the ATOM line can be applied with a brush and with an airbrush, they flow out well, dry quickly and have decent covering power.

Use

  • Painting and spraying models of Japanese naval aircraft of the Second World War, for example types such as the A6M Zero, the D3A or the B5N.
  • Brushing straight from the bottle, or airbrushing once thinned.
  • For an airbrush, thin the paint with the acrylic thinner of the same line and spray in thin coats.

Who the set is for

For modelers building aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy who want the shades matching the period camouflage together in one place. Water-thinnable acrylic is safer and smells less than solvent-based paints.

These are acrylic paints: they are thinned with water or with an acrylic thinner, not with lacquer (cellulose) thinner. Close the bottles and work in a ventilated room.
