A conversion set from Tori Factory in 1:72 scale intended for converting a base kit of the T-50 training aircraft into the FA-50 combat version. The package is made up of resin (cast resin) and 3D printed parts completed by waterslide decals and paper instructions. It is not a standalone airplane kit but an accessory that is combined with a matching base kit in 1:72 scale.
The KAI FA-50 is the combat variant of the South Korean supersonic T-50 Golden Eagle aircraft developed by Korea Aerospace Industries. Unlike the purely training version it carries a radar and armament and is adapted for light attack as well as air combat. It is powered by a single General Electric F404 turbojet.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a gloss clear coat before the decals, and after they are on, apply the matte varnish to suit the look you want.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
