This is a resin accessory set, not an airplane model. The package holds four cluster bombs stylized into the shape of the prehistoric fish Sacabambaspis and, with them, four separate carrier pylons. The parts are supplied unassembled and unpainted and serve to enliven dioramas and airplane models in 1:48 scale. The set is intended for more experienced modelers used to working with resin.
Sacabambaspis was a primitive jawless fish of the Ordovician period with forward-set eyes. Its look became a popular internet motif, and Tori Factory has wittily carried it over into the form of an aerial cluster bomb with a lug on its back, which can be hung under the wing or the fuselage of a model.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. An acrylic primer and an airbrush suit the painting; the typical look of the fish comes out after a fine wash to pick out the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
