Responsibility details are not available.
A model of the American fighter Curtiss P-40K Warhawk in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in the premium Royal Class edition. The Dual Combo box contains two complete kits, and with them resin parts (Brassin), photo-etched parts, painting masks and decals for eight color schemes. A kit to be glued and painted.
The P-40 Warhawk was one of the most widespread American fighters of the early Second World War, powered by the Allison V-1710 V12 engine. The P-40K version had a more powerful engine; on short-fuselage machines an extended fin was added to counter the engine torque. It served with the USAAF, the RAF and the South African Air Force in North Africa, the Pacific and the China and Burma theater.
The model is best built in subassemblies, testing the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and, if you wish, pick them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a quality liquid plastic cement, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
