This plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese maker Aoshima captures the DeLorean time machine in its version from the film Back to the Future Part III. It is the variant converted to run on the railroad, with period wheels and running gear adapted to the track. A base with an imitation of the track is also included, on which the finished model can be displayed to good effect.
In the third part of the film trilogy the time machine ends up in the Old West of 1885 and is converted so that it can set off along a railroad line. The car combines the futuristic elements of the time machine with period railroad wheels, which makes it one of the most distinctive forms of the DeLorean in the whole series.
The car has opening gull-wing doors, which stay movable even after assembly. For a faithful look we recommend metallic shades on the body and detailed emphasis on the running gear and the accessories. The engraved lines and technical elements will stand out after a dark wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
