A plastic kit of the police robot AV-98 Ingram from the anime and film series Mobile Police Patlabor in 1:43 scale. The model is rendered in the version with reactive armor. The parts are molded in separate colors and go together by snapping, so the model can be built without glue or paint. Built-in joints make it possible to set poses once it is assembled.
The Ingram is what is known as a Labor, a large humanoid working machine, which in the story serves the police on operations against robots that have been misused. The Patlabor series is one of the classics of the mecha genre and joins a realistic treatment of technology with a detective plot. The version with reactive armor is the combat-reinforced form of the machine.
Thanks to the parts molded in color and the snap-fit joints, the build is easy even for beginners. The result is lifted by cleaning up the joints, fine panel lines and a matte or satin clear coat to taste. The decals supplied add the police markings; we recommend settling them onto a gloss base and sealing them with clear coat. The joints let the machine be arranged into an action pose.
