This set from Aires is not an aircraft model but a resin detail accessory in 1:72 scale. It replaces the landing gear bays on the model of the F-8 Crusader fighter with faithfully cast resin parts full of texture. It is intended for the F-8 Crusader plastic kit from Academy.
Landing gear bays are often simplified on injection-molded models. The Aires resin set brings a fine tangle of ribs, pipework, wiring and rivets, which once painted and weathered raise the realism of the landing gear section markedly. The parts are glued in place of the original plastic bays, usually after minor adjustment.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. To use it you need the base F-8 Crusader kit from Academy in 1:72 scale. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
