A scriber from the D.L.C. range by the Taiwanese brand Madworks. The blade carries a DLC coating (Diamond-like Carbon), which raises hardness, lowers friction and improves resistance to wear. The blade width of 0.125 mm is among the finest in the range and produces very thin, clean engraved lines.
The scriber serves for engraving and restoring panel lines and grooves on models. The width of the blade sets the width of the groove produced, which is why the manufacturer offers a whole range of thicknesses; this variant is the finest and suits the thinnest details. It is suitable for use on plastic (ABS or PVC), resin and epoxy models. Sharp, easily controlled blades take engraving to a higher level. This is a blade on its own, which you clamp into a compatible holder. In ordinary use a blade will last two years and more.
