A scriber with a tungsten steel tip 0.4 mm wide from the Taiwanese maker Madworks. Tungsten steel holds its edge markedly longer than ordinary steel and cuts the material evenly, so the line is clean and free of burrs. The tang is 3 mm in diameter, so it fits handles and chucks that take three-millimeter tangs. The 0.4 mm width suits somewhat bolder panel lines and larger scales.
For demanding modelers building subjects in larger scales who want a permanently sharp tool for bolder engraving. Tungsten steel gives it a long service life.
The tip is very sharp, so work carefully and with light pressure. Keep out of the reach of children.
