A set of decals with a faithful carbon fiber pattern in 1:12 scale from the Japanese maker Studio27. It is meant for dressing the fairing and other parts of a model of the supercharged Kawasaki Ninja H2 motorcycle so that they look like real carbon. It is an accessory for the build, not the model itself.
The decals reproduce the typical woven pattern of carbon fiber with the weave running in different directions on the various surfaces. They go onto the parts of the fairing and the frame and create a realistic carbon surface without laborious painting. The result is a faithful factory look in keeping with the character of this powerful machine.
Paint the surface first and apply the decals over gloss clear coat, so that the edges of the film blend into the surface. Use a softener to settle them into curved shapes and, once dry, seal them with clear coat to the degree of gloss you want. Work in smaller areas for precise alignment of the pattern.
This is a decal set, not a model. The base motorcycle kit, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
