1:24 Honda Civic EG6 - Dress Up Carbon Decal (for Hasegawa Kits)

Studio27 Honda Civic EG6 decorative carbon decals 1:24

A Dress Up decal set from the brand Studio27 for the plastic kit of the Honda Civic EG6 sports hatchback in 1:24 scale. The water-slide decals imitate the look of carbon weave for decorative areas of the body, the interior and the fittings, so that the model takes on a realistic carbon look without painting. The set is intended for Hasegawa kits.

The car

The Honda Civic EG6 is the sporting version of the fifth-generation Civic from the first half of the 1990s. In the SiR version it was powered by a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter engine with VTEC valve timing, and the car is prized to this day as a light and lively hot hatch.

Use and tips

• Apply the decals to a smooth, preferably gloss painted surface.
• Offer the part up and trim the sheet to the shape you need.
• Use a decal softener to settle them onto shaped surfaces.
• Once dry, seal them with clear coat to even the surface out.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building Japanese road cars in 1:24 scale.
• Anyone after realistic carbon surfaces without airbrush painting.
• Moderately experienced and advanced builders.

This is an additional decal set, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
