It is not a car kit but a combination of decals and detail parts with which you complete and sharpen the base plastic kit of the BMW 318i. The set reproduces the period racing livery in the version with the San Miguel sponsorship from touring car racing and adds detail parts for a more faithful look. The set is intended for the Hasegawa kit, which has to be obtained separately.
In the mid-1990s the BMW 318i was among the successful Super Touring class cars. In the version with the San Miguel sponsorship it started in the prestigious Guia Race in Macau in 1994, which is part of the rich history of touring cars.
For modelers who are building the BMW 318i and want to build it in a particular historical racing version, with a faithful livery and better detail.
