A Studio27 decal set in 1:24 scale with a period racing livery and sponsor markings. The water-slide decals will dress a model of the Ford Escort in the Mobil finish from the 1997 Monte Carlo Rally. It is neither a kit nor paint.
The Monte Carlo Rally is the most prestigious event of the calendar, famous for its treacherous weather and changeable winter conditions. The Ford Escort in the competition specification of the late 1990s came here as a favorite among the drivers of independent teams as well. The set carries a particular color scheme from the 1997 running onto a model.
Apply the decals to a smooth, clear-coated surface with plenty of lukewarm water. Once they are placed, squeeze the water and any air bubbles out with a soft cloth, and use a decal softener on shapes and edges. Finally seal the body with clear coat to the matching degree of gloss.
Decals are not a kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
