A Studio27 decal set in 1:24 scale with a period racing livery and sponsor markings. The water-slide decals will dress a model of the Ford Escort in the striking Martini finish from the 1997 San Remo Rally. It is neither a kit nor paint.
The San Remo Rally was the traditional Italian event of the world championship, famous for its fast asphalt and gravel stages. The Ford Escort in the competition specification of the late 1990s was among the competitive cars here. The iconic Martini color combination gives a model the unmistakable period look of the 1997 running.
Apply the decals to a smooth, clear-coated surface with plenty of lukewarm water. Once they are in position, squeeze the water and any bubbles out with a soft cloth, and use a decal softener on shapes. With striped liveries, take care that the pieces line up exactly across edges. Seal the finished body with clear coat.
