1:24 Toyota Corolla WRC OMV Monte Carlo 2002 Decals Set

Toyota Corolla WRC OMV Monte Carlo 2002, decals 1:24 (Studio27)

Water-slide decals in 1:24 scale from the Japanese brand Studio27. They reproduce the complete rally livery of the Toyota Corolla WRC in the colors of the OMV sponsor from the 2002 Monte Carlo Rally: sponsor lettering, race numbers and small markings. The print has fine registration and the minimum of carrier film, and a placement diagram is usually enclosed.

The real subject and the livery

The Toyota Corolla WRC was a World Rally Championship car of the late 1990s and the turn of the millennium, powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with four-wheel drive. The Monte Carlo Rally is the traditional winter event with its mix of dry and icy asphalt; the OMV livery from the 2002 running represents one of this car's entries.

Applying the decals

• Coat the surface with gloss clear coat, so that the decal adheres well and no silvering bubbles form.
• Dip the decal briefly in lukewarm water and slide it off the backing onto the moistened spot.
• Adjust the position and pull it down onto the shapes with softening and setting solutions.
• Once dry, spray over it with protective clear coat to match the gloss of the body.

Who the set is for

• Modelers of WRC rally cars.
• Collectors of rally liveries of the Toyota Corolla WRC.
• Builders who want a particular version from Monte Carlo 2002.

This is a standalone decal set, not a kit. The car model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
