This is a standalone decal set in 1:24 scale, not a kit. It holds water-slide decals with the Petronas sponsor livery on the Proton rally car for 2002, and it is meant to bring the matching plastic kit of the car to life.
The works team backed by the Malaysian oil company Petronas appeared regularly in the World Rally Championship and in the Asia-Pacific championship at the turn of the millennium. The set captures the competition colors of the 2002 season, as the car looked at the events in Japan (Hokkaido) and in Australia, including the race numbers, the crew names and the placement of the sponsor lettering.
Place the decals on a smooth, gloss and thoroughly dried clear coat. Dip the piece briefly in lukewarm water, let it come free of the backing paper and move it into place. We recommend a decal softener and setting solution for a perfect fit into the pressings of the body. Once dry, go over it with clear coat so that the edges of the film disappear.
This is an additional decal set. The car kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
