An additional Studio27 decal set in 1:12 scale aimed at the side cowl of the Honda RC211V motorcycle from the 2006 MotoGP championship. It holds water-slide decals for the sponsor markings and the livery of this part of the fairing. It is an accessory to a plastic kit of the motorcycle, not the model itself.
The Honda RC211V was a works MotoGP class prototype with a five-cylinder engine, and it was among the most successful machines of its era. In the 2006 season RC211Vs started with both works and customer teams in a range of different sponsor colors, so faithful markings on the fairing are crucial for a model.
Cut the motif out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it off the backing onto the smooth painted surface of the fairing. To seat it over the curves of the plastic use a decal softener, and finally go over it with clear coat, which protects the decals and evens out the gloss.
This is a decal set for the side cowl. The plastic kit, paints, glue and clear coat are not included in the package.
