Water-slide decals in 1:12 scale from the Japanese maker Studio27. The set reproduces the livery and sponsor logos of the Honda RC212V motorcycle in the colors of the SCOT team from the 2009 MotoGP world championship season. It serves to finish a plastic model of the motorcycle into a faithful rendering of that customer machine.
The Honda RC212V was a works MotoGP class prototype with a V4 engine of 800 cc, entered from 2007 to 2011. Besides the works version, satellite and customer teams used it in the field with liveries of their own; this set matches the finish of the SCOT team of 2009.
Apply the decals to the gloss painted surface of the fairing, ideally over a layer of clear coat. A softener and setting solution will help the decals adhere to the rounded shapes of the fairing and the tank. Finally go over the parts with clear coat to even them out and protect them.
This is a standalone decal set. The model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
