Studio27 1:24, Ford Fiesta Jipocar, Rally Mexico 2014 is a decal sheet with the livery of the Czech team Jipocar Czech National Team, with which Martin Prokop raced the world championship. This is not a kit: the Ford Fiesta model from Belkits has to be bought separately.

Let it be clear at once: this is not a kit, it is a sheet of water-transferred decals in 1:24 scale from Studio27 for the Ford Fiesta kit from Belkits. You have to own the model of the car. What you get, though, is something not often seen among model products: a Czech crew in the world championship.
Jipocar Czech National Team was a Czech rally team which in 2014 lined up at the start of the world championship (WRC) against the factories from France, Germany and Finland. It was raced for by Martin Prokop, one of the best Czech rally drivers ever to break into the WRC, with his co-driver Jan Tomanek. At Rally Mexico 2014 they finished fifth, which was their best result of the whole season. Not a record podium, but fifth place in the world, with private Czech funding, among works cars. That is exactly why this sheet is worth building.
Rallying is not run on a circuit. It is run on closed public roads, on gravel, asphalt, in snow and in mud, in any weather, by day and by night. In the car sits a co-driver reading the pace notes out loud: the driver enters a corner he cannot yet see and trusts the voice beside him. Mexico is an extreme on top of that: gravel at an altitude of over two thousand meters above sea level. The air is thin, engines lose power, and there is heat and omnipresent dust as well.
Apply the decals to gloss clear coat; on a matte base a decal silvers and that is the most common mistake of all. On curved areas use decal softener. Then clear coat over the decals and only then weathering, as the order is binding. A Mexican Fiesta certainly is not meant to be clean: light gray dust in the edges and in the grilles, dried mud, stone chipping on the fenders. Pigments and washes are as important here as the decals themselves.
The package contains decals only. The kit, paints, clear coats, softener and pigments are not included. Other sheets for the Ford Fiesta exist as well.
