The BMW Z4 GT3 is the circuit version of the Z4 roadster, adapted for the GT3 category. Compared with the road car it has a fixed roof, a markedly wider body, a flat floor and a large rear wing; a V8 is mounted at the front and the rear wheels are driven. The car made its name above all in endurance events, among them the twenty-four-hour race at the Nürburgring, whose course runs along the long and broken northern circuit.
The set carries decals for the cars with race numbers 19 and 20, as the manufacturer ties them to the Schubert team and to the race at the Nürburgring in 2014. The artwork is printed to the shapes of the parts of the Fujimi BMW Z4 GT3 kit. The basic shade of the body is sprayed separately; the decals carry the color scheme, the race numbers and the additional lettering.
These are wet decals. Let the body cure to a gloss before applying them, because on a matte base the edge of the film gives itself away with a white veil. Separate the artwork one piece at a time as close to the printing as possible, soak it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest. After sliding it onto the model, draw the water off with a soft cloth and help the decal over edges and recesses with softener. Fix the dried markings with a coat.
