The Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 was among the mainstays of the GT3 category at a time when this class spread across the whole of Europe. The car is based on the SLS AMG coupe, the engine is a naturally aspirated V8 mounted at the front behind the axle, and together with the gearbox at the rear it forms an arrangement that gives the model an unusually long front end and a short tail. The circuit version has wider fenders, a flat floor, reworked cooling and a large rear wing. The German Black Falcon team was among the stables that raced these cars over the long term.
The set carries decals for the car with race number 21 in the color scheme that the manufacturer ties to the Black Falcon team and to the race at Monza in 2015. The printing is prepared to the shapes of the parts of the Fujimi Mercedes SLS kit in 1:24 scale. The basic shade of the body is sprayed separately, the decals only add the artwork of the color scheme and the race numbers.
The decals are of the wet type. The base has to be dried and glossy, otherwise a white veil appears under the film. Cut the artwork off one piece at a time close to the printing, soak it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until the film starts to slide over the paper. Softener helps over edges, recesses and grilles; on large areas press the water out with a soft cloth from the center to the edges. Once they are completely dry, coat the markings over so that they do not peel.
