1:24 Ford Fiesta WRC - No.8 Monza Rally Show 2014 Decals Set

Ford Fiesta WRC decals, 1:24 scale

A decal sheet for a model of the Ford Fiesta WRC competition car in 1:24 scale. The color scheme matches the car with race number 8 from the Monza Rally Show event in 2014, that is including the lettering and the markings that belonged to this entry.

About the color scheme

The Monza Rally Show is an exhibition event held at the end of the year at the circuit in Monza. It is run on the asphalt of the circuit supplemented with artificially built-in sections and on the entry list rally crews meet drivers from other series. The cars therefore carry color schemes prepared precisely for this weekend, with their own combination of race numbers and lettering. A model built from such a sheet will not meet an ordinary works version in the display case and it is visible at a glance that it is a particular machine from a particular race.

How to apply the decals

• The base has to be smooth, clean and coated with gloss clear coat; on a matte surface air stays under the film and the edges turn silver.
• Cut the artwork out close to the printing and soak it in lukewarm water for only a moment.
• Let the decal rest on the paper until it can be moved, and only then transfer it to the model.
• Press the water out from under the decal with a soft cloth from the center to the edges.
• On shaped places softener helps, which pulls the film into a recess and to the edges.
• Once it is dry, coat the surface so that the edges of the film disappear under the clear coat.

Who the sheet is for

For builders of competition cars in the twenty-fourth scale who want a particular machine from a particular entry and not a generic color scheme from the box. Lay the decals on and compare them with the body before applying them. The paints, clear coat and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
