Studio27 1:24 decal sheet: Porsche 911 RSR No. 91 and 92, Le Mans 2019 is a set of waterslide decals for the Porsche 911 RSR kit from NuNu. It is not a kit — the car model itself has to be your own.

Mind the classification: these are not plastic parts but markings. The sheet of waterslide decals from Studio27 is drawn for the body of the Porsche 911 RSR 1:24 kit from NuNu — you need to have it, otherwise the sheet has nothing to be applied to. The strength of this set: it covers both works cars, that is No. 91 and No. 92, so from one package you can build either of them (or, if you have two kits, the whole works pair).
The numbers 91 and 92 belonged to the works Porsche GT Team in the GTE Pro category — these are the sharp cars from Porsche's own shop, not a customer entry. Technically, the 2017 generation of the 911 RSR is a fundamental departure from tradition: the flat six no longer sits behind the rear axle but in front of it, so the engine is mid-mounted. On a car whose whole identity rests on a rear engine, that is a small revolution, forced by aerodynamics and weight distribution. At Le Mans in 2019 the GTE Pro class win did not go to Porsche but to the Ferrari of the AF Corse team with car No. 51; car No. 91 (Richard Lietz, Gianmaria Bruni, Frédéric Makowiecki) finished second and No. 92 third. Works podiums yes, an outright class triumph no — and that is how it is written here.
A decal needs a smooth and GLOSSY surface. On matte paint air is sealed under the carrier film and the decal silvers — it is the most common mistake and on the large sponsor areas of the 911 RSR it shows immediately. The order of work: body color, gloss clear coat, decals, clear varnish again, polishing. For the rounded fenders, sills and bumpers prepare a decal softener: the carrier film softens, settles into the shape and into the engraved panel lines and does not lift. And reckon with the fact that the base white and the additional body shades are up to you — the sheet holds the markings, not a full-surface wrap, so the paint under it and around it has to match exactly.
This is a separate decal sheet. The kit, the paints, the varnishes and the softener are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
