A conversion set, a trans kit, from the Japanese brand Studio27 in 1:24 scale for advanced modelers. It holds resin parts, white metal and decals with which a plastic model of the BMW M3 E30 is converted into the Group A competition special from the Tour de Corse of 1987. It is not a complete kit – a matching basic M3 model is necessary.
The Group A BMW M3 E30 was among the most successful asphalt competition specials of the second half of the 1980s. The French asphalt rally Tour de Corse was ideal ground for these light, agile cars. The conversion captures the aerodynamic and technical elements of the 1987 competition specification.
This is a conversion set, not a complete kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
