Trumpeter EH-101 Merlin 1:700 is a set of injection-molded plastic models of a multi-purpose naval helicopter for populating the decks of ships and aircraft carriers.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from the maker Trumpeter holds several small models of the AgustaWestland EH-101 Merlin helicopter in 1:700 scale. It serves to complete the decks and hangars of warship and aircraft carrier kits in the same scale realistically. The parts are injection molded in plastic.
The EH-101 Merlin is a large multi-purpose helicopter with three engines that came about as a joint British and Italian project. In naval service it carries out anti-submarine warfare, transport and search and rescue tasks and operates from the decks of frigates, destroyers and aircraft carriers.
The models are small, so use tweezers, a sharp knife and thin cement for plastic. Clean up the parting lines carefully and spray the parts with an airbrush or paint them with a fine brush in thin coats. The rotor and the fine projections are the most delicate, so give them extra attention.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
