The set from the manufacturer Trumpeter contains several small models of the light Alouette helicopter in 1:350 scale. It serves for populating the decks and hangars of kits of warships in the same scale. The parts are injection molded in plastic.
The Alouette is a line of light helicopters of French design which spread all over the world in civilian as well as military service. Thanks to their small dimensions and undemanding operation they suited shipboard service on smaller warships as well, where they carried out liaison, reconnaissance and support tasks.
The parts are very small in this scale, so use tweezers, a sharp knife and liquid cement for plastic. Clean the mold parting lines up carefully and spray the models with an airbrush or a fine brush in thin coats. The rotor and the fine projections call for extra care.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
