Responsibility details are not available.
A model of the British carrier-borne fighter-bomber Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 in the large 1:32 scale from the British manufacturer DBMK. Entirely new tooling designed from a LiDAR scan of a surviving aircraft; according to the manufacturer it contains 338 plastic parts and 117 Eduard etched parts, Cartograf decals, optionally folded or spread wings and underwing stores — 7 color schemes.
The Hawker Sea Fury was one of the last and fastest British piston-engined fighters, powered by a Bristol Centaurus radial engine. The carrier-borne FB.11 version served with the Royal Navy and proved itself in combat during the Korean War — Lieutenant Carmichael is credited with shooting down a jet MiG-15 in 1952.
It is worth building the model in subassemblies and testing the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and, if you wish, pick them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a good thin cement for plastic, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
