Quickboost 1:32 antennas for the He-162A-1/2 is a resin detail set — fine replacement antennas for the He-162 plastic kit from the manufacturer Revell. It is not an aircraft model but a small part for a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
Note: this is not an aircraft kit but a resin detail set from the Quickboost range (simple accessories from the manufacturer Aires). It contains the fine antennas of the German jet fighter Heinkel He-162A-1/2, which replace the coarser plastic parts or add them where they are missing altogether. The set is designed for the plastic kit in 1:32 scale from the manufacturer Revell. You have to have the base He-162 kit of your own.
Antennas are small but conspicuous protrusions on the fuselage of an aircraft; in a kit they tend to be either thick and inaccurate or missing entirely. Accurately cast resin antennas are thinner and more faithful than plastic and give the finished model a realistic, fine appearance. The He 162 Volksjäger was a light, late German jet fighter of the end of the Second World War, hastily developed from wood and metal; the A-1 and A-2 versions differed mainly in their armament. In the large 1:32 scale small accessories stand out particularly well.
Separate the antennas carefully from the casting block with a sharp blade — they are thin and fragile, so work with a light touch. Tidy the mating faces up lightly and bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate), as a classic cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Before painting, wash any mold release agent off the parts. Paint them in the color of the aircraft; a thin antenna will only take a light coat so that the detail is not clogged — an airbrush or a very fine brush is the right choice.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model. The base He-162 kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
