Resin ejection seats with seat belts for the F-16I Sufa in 1:48 scale from the maker Aires, intended for the Kinetic kit. They are not models but detail parts for the cockpit of a kit.

This is a resin detail set, not a model. It replaces the cockpit ACES II ejection seats in the plastic F-16I Sufa kit from Kinetic in 1:48 scale. The seats have cast seat belts and buckles, so the laborious addition of photo-etched parts falls away. The F-16I Sufa is the Israeli two-seat version of the F-16, so the set is worked out for a cockpit with two places. You have to own the base kit.
A resin casting brings considerably finer detail than injection-molded plastic: the breakdown of the cushion, the headrest, the ejection handles and the belts are all cast directly in the part. The cockpit therefore looks realistic even without assembling separate photo-etched belts, which the builder of a model with an open canopy will appreciate above all.
Separate the seats from the casting block by cutting, clean them up and wash the residue of the mold release agent off them. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Paint them only after a primer has been sprayed on, bring out the belts with a different shade and a wash and give the ejection handles the usual yellow and black striping.
Detail parts for a kit: the kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
