This item is not a car model but a set of 3D-printed hubs of sports steering wheels in 1:24 scale. It serves to improve the interior of a car model; it replaces the simplified center of the steering wheel from the kit with a more faithful, finely detailed part. The modeler obtains the base kit of the car and the paints separately.
The hub of a steering wheel is a conspicuous element on sports and racing cars; it carries the logo of the maker of the wheel, the bolts of the rim and sometimes the horn button. A faithful hub therefore lifts the realism of the view into the cabin considerably, especially on models with the doors open or the roof removed. Thanks to 3D printing, the set is sharply drawn in the places where the injection-molded plastic from a kit tends to be simplified.
Carefully separate the parts from the print supports and gently sand down any traces left by the supports. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), which suits small 3D-printed resin parts better than classic cement for plastic. Degrease the parts before painting; lay the paint down with an airbrush or a brush in thin coats, and the metal details can be brought out with metallic paint or a dry brush.
This is a detail accessory, not a kit. The model of the car, paints and glue are not included in the package.
