The 3D-printed ejection seat ACES II for the early version of the F-16 - without seat belts in 1:48 scale from the maker Art Scale. A detail accessory for the cockpit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains one 3D-printed ACES II ejection seat for the early version of the F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter in 1:48 scale, in the version without seat belts. The version without belts will be appreciated by modelers who want to use their own fabric or photo-etched belts and achieve the most realistic look possible. This is not a kit but a detail accessory for the cockpit that replaces the simplified plastic seat. The maker is Art Scale. A version with the belts modeled directly in the print also exists.
The ACES II (Advanced Concept Ejection Seat II) is the standard ejection seat of a number of American combat aircraft, among them the light F-16 fighter. The version for the early variants matches the earlier cockpit layout; the seat is clearly visible under the glazed canopy and belongs among its prominent features.
Separate the seat carefully from the print supports and clean it up; bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Add your own belts (fabric or photo-etched) once the shell has been painted.
This is a supplementary detail set, not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and seat belts are not included in the package.
