Me 262A Wheel Bay Masking Set (1:72) — flexible foam masks for clean spraying of the underside and landing gear bays of the jet from the Arma Hobby kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
Flexible foam masks designed to cover the wheel bays of the German jet fighter Messerschmitt Me 262A in 1:72 scale. The soft foam is pressed into the landing gear bay openings, where it holds by its own springiness and prevents paint from getting inside or onto surrounding detail. At the small 1:72 scale, where hand-masking tiny bays is difficult, the foam insert saves a great deal of work. The masks can be reused after washing. The set is shaped for the Me 262A kit from Arma Hobby in this scale.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe was the world's first jet fighter used in combat. It was propelled by a pair of Junkers Jumo 004 jet engines slung under the wings, and thanks to its high speed it posed a considerable threat to Allied bombers at the end of the Second World War. The A version included both fighter and fighter-bomber variants.
This is a masking aid, not a model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
